Snow Lake Trek, also known as the Biafo-Hispar Trek, is one of the most epic and remote adventures in the Karakoram mountains of Pakistan. Traversing Snow Lake (Lukpe Lawo) and crossing Hispar La Pass (5,149m), it connects two legendary regions: the Braldu Valley and the Hunza Valley. This trek is a dream for those who want to experience untouched wilderness, massive glaciers, and towering peaks.

Trek Overview

  • Difficulty: Challenging but non-technical; no mountaineering skills required.
  • Altitude: Gradual gain; proper acclimatization days built-in.
  • Walking: 6-8 miles daily (5-6 hours average).
  • Terrain: Mostly glaciers, rubble, moraines, and rocky trails.
